KIDz U is all about Kids! K-5th Grade.

KzU 2011
Tuesdays @ 6:30PM!

KIDz University is designed for Kids. The format of 5 week sessions is designed to fit in the school calendar year. We realize that families are busy and know that short sessions work better in their family schedules. We offer four to five sessions throughout the whole year that offer unique learning experiences from cooking to sports to art and crafts to photography to science and more.

Our Purpose is to build bridges into our neighborhoods and connect children and their families to PHCC so that they will hear the gospel and watch and experience the gospel in action. We provide wholesome instruction, entertainment and encouragement to children and families.

For 2011-2012, our theme verse is Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.” ~ NLT. Represent Jesus in all we do!

No Kidz U on Jan 17 or Feb 14.

PINE CAR DERBY IS FEBUARY 7!!
Registration Fee is $5.00 per student
Classes:

1
Pine Car Derby

2^nd - 5^th

This is an annual class where kids make their own pine car from start to finish. It all ends with the big race on February 1. The class is limited to 3rd-5th Grade students. However, 2nd graders are welcome if they are accompanied each week by a parent or guardian.

2 Kid Snacks

K - 5^th
For those students who are not quite old enough for Pine Cars and for those who are not as interested in Pine Cars, this class provides an opportunity to learn to make snacks that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Session 4: Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Feb. 21, 28, March 6, 13 & 20 - 6:30-8:00 PM

Intro to Acting

K-5

Students will practice and rehearse a short play of the Easter Story to be presented to family and friends at our Closing Program on March 20

Intro to Set Design

K-5

Students will learn to design and build the set for the Easter Story presentation on March 20.

Amazing Science

3-5

Students will learn and experience amazing scientific wonders from God's Creation.
