KzU Fall '10 - Session 1
Starts Tuesday, September 21!

KIDz University is designed for Kids. The format of 4-5 week sessions is designed to fit in the school calendar year. We realize that families are busy and know that short sessions work better in their family schedules. We offer four to five sessions throughout the whole year that offer unique learning experiences from cooking to sports to art and crafts to photography to science and more.

Our Purpose is to build bridges into our neighborhoods and connect children and their families to PHCC so that they will hear the gospel and watch and experience the gospel in action. We provide wholesome instruction, entertainment and encouragement to children and families.

A hands-on class about plants, growing & gardening!

A sampling of art techniques such as sketching, drawing, painting, using watercolor and pastels.

Soccer Skills & Drills

Learn & practice basic soccer skills and scrimmage in the gym.

1	All About Animals	K-2^nd	Mammals, reptiles, invertebrates, vertebrates…everything God made is good! But which is what, who lives where, and what purpose do they serve? We’ll learn all about amazing animals in this class. Animal experts from Cosley Zoo (Oct 6) and Lincoln Marsh (Oct 20) will join us for special presentations with live animals!
2	Cooking & Baking the Classics	3^rd - 5^th	Learn how to make classic meals and desserts with lots of kitchen safety tips along the way! Each week, students will sample their work in class, then take some home to their families!
3	Golf Basics	3^rd - 5^th	Pastor Scott will show us the how to play like Tiger Woods. Golf is a lifetime sport – fun for all ages! This class will cover all the basics of the sport and will meet outside as weather allows. Bring clubs if you have them, otherwise, equipment will be provided!
