God wants us to grow in relationship with Him, no matter what we are facing. As followers of Jesus we can mature through times of peace and through times of persecution. It is important for us to be fully aware of what persecution looks like so we do not manufacture hard times. As we mature spiritually we should always be ready to share with others what we believe and why we believe it as they observe our lives.
